It is 4 days since I have been a part of the Manakau School Team, and what a few days it has been. Lunchtimes are definitely my favourite time of the day!  At our school there is so much for the children to do. The new bike track, go carts, sandpit, playground, hanging around in trees, shooting hoops, playing any number of ball games and the very popular lunchtime swim, we are incredibly lucky!  It’s not just the activities, but the way the children interact with each other. Our children care for each other, our senior students support the younger children, and for the newbies (me included), there is always someone to explain how things work here, someone willing to play a game and show their Personal Best Always!
